The consolidated experience in the shipbuilding sector, rope production and weapon systems will be at the center of the participation of the Defense Industries Agency in the eighth edition of Seafuture 2023, which will take place at the Naval Base of La Spezia from 5 to 8 June.
The products and services of the nine production units of AID will be exhibited and presented at stand C15, enhancing the naval activities as well as the innovative, sustainable and competitive strategies of the Agency and its production units.
The historic Arsenal of Messina and the Cordami Production Plant of Castellamare di Stabia have a solid experience in the shipbuilding sector and in the production of cables and naval equipment. The high professionalism and competence of the two production units allow the realization of unique processes of their kind, which are then customized according to the requests of the various business partners. The Arsenal of Messina, in particular, offers overhaul, testing and maintenance services for mechanical, electrical and electronic processing of device and light and heavy carpentry.
With regard to the field of demilitarization, production and integration of explosive artifacts and naval weapon systems, the Military Establishment of Land Ammunition in Baiano di Spoleto plays a significant role in supporting the Armed Forces. In the health and pharmaceutical sectors, the Military Pharmaceutical Chemical Plant of Florence, in addition to producing medicines and pharmaceutical devices for the country, is engaged in the creation and preparation of first aid medical kits and rescue backpacks for the Armed Forces.
The eighth edition of Seafuture will focus on Maritime and Dual Use Technologies and will also cover the Blue Economy sector, a sustainable business model aimed at protecting the maritime ecosystem.
