Aviation and space land in Rome. In fact, “Fly Future 2023” is back, the second edition of the orientation and information event dedicated to young people who intend to find a job opportunity in the aerospace sector. This event will take place from today Tuesday 23 May until Wednesday 24 at the European University of Rome (via degli Aldobrandeschi 190, 9-17). “Dozens of pilots, astronauts, managers and professionals in the aerospace sector for two days will be available to many young people interested in undertaking a course of study or a career in this extraordinary sector”, confirms Luciano Castro, organizer of the event. “We have already received bookings from hundreds of high school students from all over Italy, especially technicians and aeronautics, who will visit the event in search of information, ideas and contacts for their professional future”.
The program of “Fly Future 2023” will open tomorrow morning with the conference “Professione Volo. Job and career opportunities in the aviation and air transport sector in Italy”, which will also be streamed live. The two days of the event will then continue with over 25 conferences, conferences and round tables: among others, pilots and managers of important companies and aerial work companies (such as ITA Airways, Aeroitalia, Wizz Air and Avincis), executives of the air traffic management company (ENAV) and flight schools (Urbe Aero, European Aviation Academy, Aero Locarno and Aviomar), aircraft maintenance companies (Atitech and SEAS) and an aircraft manufacturer (Blackshape).
There will also be Higher Technical Institutes (ITS Lombardia Meccatronica, ITS Piemonte Aerospazio/Meccatronica and ITS Puglia Aerospazio), aeronautical training institutes and networks (Lindbergh Flying School, Aircraft Engineering Academy, RICMA, COA and ITS Italy Network), schools for drone pilots (Aerovision and Territorial Air Surveillance), specialized newspapers (JP4 and Avioportolano ) and government bodies (National Civil Aviation Authority, Air Force and State Police). Important presences also in the space field: in fact, the astronaut Paolo Nespoli, experts from the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the companies Avio and Thales Alenia Space will intervene. There will also be a large exhibition area, with over 30 desks and some aerospace-themed exhibitions.
“Fly Future 2023” is promoted by the Ifimedia association, in collaboration with Mediarkè and the European University of Rome. The event received patronage from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), the National Agency for Flight Safety (ANSV), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), the Federation of Italian Companies for Aerospace, Defense and Security (AIAD), Aero Club d’Italia and AOPA Italia.
