Here comes a new event on technology and innovation in the field of space activities in Italy. It is called “LarioSpace” and will take place on Tuesday 9 May at the Lariofiere exhibition center in Erba (Como). This event, organized by Involve Space and Lariofiere, will offer participants the opportunity to discover the challenges of the New Space Economy and to learn about its main technological innovations and prospects for the future. It will also be an opportunity to meet and interface with key figures of the Italian space ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, startuppers, science communicators and influencers related to this sector.
The “LarioSpace” program includes a series of talks given by qualified speakers, including managers of public bodies, large companies, SMEs and start-ups. Among the topics that will be addressed, there are space telecommunications, Earth observation, educational and training, environment and sustainability, missions of small satellites and exploration of the Moon and Mars. Representatives of the European Space Agency (ESA), the Italian Space Agency (ASI), the National Research Council (CNR) of the Amaldi Foundation, as well as specialized companies such as Telespazio, D-Orbit, Apogeo Space and Aiko have already confirmed their presence. There will also be an area dedicated to stands and networking to facilitate meetings between entrepreneurs, professionals and stakeholders. Learn more about www.lariospace.it.
“LarioSpace is much more than just an event, but also a unique opportunity to look to the future, to discover technological innovation in space and to connect with those who lead the development of the New Space Economy in Italy”, explain the organizers. “This event, which will have an annual periodicity, also intends to promote the centrality of our country in this global revolution that looks to the future of man in space”, underlines Jonathan Polotto, CEO of Involve Space. “The event was born from a collaboration between Lariofiere, a foundation owned by the Chamber of Commerce of Como-Lecco, and Involve Space, a startup from Como that deals with aerospace research”.
