Defence Tech (through its subsidiary Donexit), infodas and Leonardo are pooling their expertise to cope with the increasing complexity of information protection requirements in Italian Defence programmes.
This collaboration aims to customize the SDoT Security Gateway Express – infodas’ flagship bidirectional gateway – in a specific version to meet the operational and security standards of the Italian Defense. infodas’ cross-domain solutions are already in use in several NATO and EU military programs and exercises; thanks to the experience and skills acquired through these activities, the decision has matured to provide Italy with its own version of the two-way gateway for the exchange of information.
To this end, Defence Tech and infodas, in line with the requirements expressed by Leonardo for the integration of a cross-domain solution into different defence systems, have already started activities to enable the assessment of the SDoT Security Gateway Express by the Italian authorities, with the aim of obtaining ITA SECRET accreditation. The Italian customization of infodas’ cross-domain solutions will enable the bidirectional transfer of real-time data between two domains with different classification levels and between unclassified and classified domains, in accordance with Leonardo’s specific requirements. Defence Tech, already a distributor of infodas in Italy for over a year, has the necessary expertise to support the security assessment by the Italian authorities. As part of this initiative, Defence Tech becomes the custodian of the Italian version of the infodas SDoT Security Gateway Express.
