More than 1200 NATO men and women and over 300 combat vehicles engaged in two intense weeks of joint and multinational training.
The “Brave Warrior 2023” exercise ended last week at the Veszprém – Vàrpalota training area, which will sanction the achievement of full operational readiness to operate in both inter-force and multinational contexts.
The contingents of Hungary, Italy, the United States, Croatia, which together deployed over 300 combat vehicles and over 1,200 men and women, including 260 from the Alpine Troops of the Italian Army, conducted in a synergistic way two weeks of intense training activities aimed at conducting defensive activities.
The continuous exercise of 72 hours, structured in such a way as to allow the participating units to train in a realistic and integrated way, saw all the components of the minor Italian complex employed: riflemen, anti-tank teams, breakers and cavalry component, in full integration with the artillery and mortar units.
