The 4th Tank Regiment participated in the multinational exercise Dragoon Ready 2023, at the Hohenfels training base in Germany.
The multinational exercise “Dragoon Ready 2023”, at the Hohenfels training base in Germany, in which the Italian Army participated with the 4th tank regiment on C1 Ariete tanks, ended in recent days.
The exercise was aimed at testing combat capabilities, verifying the interoperability of communication systems between the forces of participating allied countries in a simulated operational environment.
The Italian tank unit operated together with an infantry platoon, a mortar section and an engineer team for battlefield work and obstacle laying provided by the US 2nd Cavalry Regiment , in which the tankers of the “Garibaldi” were framed. The training activities saw the units first engaged in the planning phase and, subsequently, in the conducted phase, which developed through a continuous exercise of about 10 days.
