From 28 September to 1 October in the arsenal.
The Seafuture had been missing from La Spezia for three years. The biennial fair dedicated to the sea has been postponed by one year due to Covid. And finally it returns to animate the arsenal from 28 September to 1 October. There is great anticipation for the seventh edition of this event which will be attended by 200 companies and 50 Marines from around the world, as well as universities, institutions and industry professionals. It will be accessed for free after registering on the site and respecting all anti-Covid measures. In addition to the stands, a full program of conferences and workshops will attract researchers and experts. While business meetings (B2b, business-to-business) are certainly the heart of the event, the one that everyone is waiting for to give life to our country and contribute to the revival of the economy.
“It is perhaps the first event we do in attendance – says the Chief of Staff of the Marina Militare, Admiral Cavo Dragone, during the presentation press conference – I would like to consider it as a starting point for the country system”. It could only be so given that the economy linked to the sea is worth 34 billion euros for Italy. In Italy, there are 200,000 companies in the sea economy, a sector that also fascinates young entrepreneurs: one tenth of the companies, in fact, are headed by under 35s.
“The idea behind Seafuture is that the sea is part of the future of this nation – says Cristiana Pagni, president of the company that organizes the event, Italian Blue Growth – We are proud of the fact that we are contributing to the growth of this culture” .
