Corvara was the scene of a meeting between training, team building and shared values.
The meeting of the Women’s National Team organized in collaboration with the Italian Army ended in Corvara, South Tyrol, an experience that combined technical and physical work on the field with activities dedicated to building the group and consolidating team spirit.
During the week, the Azzurre enjoyed an immersive experience inside the military structure, alternating training sessions with team building activities organized together with the personnel of the Italian Army. The program included excursions in the Dolomites, orienteering activities, skill exercises and moments of discussion with the team of psychologists of the Army, with the aim of strengthening mutual knowledge, improving communication within the group and developing individual and collective skills through dynamics of collaboration, trust and leadership.
In parallel with the experiential activities, the team continued the technical work envisaged by the summer training camp program, carrying out sessions in the gym and on the rugby field aimed at consolidating athletic preparation and game aspects.

The collaboration between the Italian Rugby Federation and the Italian Army was a central element of the meeting, confirming a relationship based on the sharing of values such as discipline, team spirit, sacrifice and the ability to face challenges as a group.
An experience already lived by the Men’s National Team, which in 2023 had chosen Corvara as the venue for a similar team building and preparation activity in view of the Rugby World Cup played in France. A path that had allowed the Azzurri to work on group dynamics in a context far from everyday competition, through activities designed to strengthen the cohesion and identity of the team. The Corvara meeting thus represented an important opportunity for growth for the Women’s National Team, integrating sports preparation and group development through an experience built on the shared values between rugby and the Italian Army.
